Deceptive

The app does not allow you send messages via SMS as the product name suggests. Both you and the recipient need to install this application to communicate.

The product presents itself as method of SMSing people from your desktop computer (by relaying messages through the SMS service on your phone). In fact, the application a proprietary messaging platform, similar to: Skype, MSNmessenger, GoogleChat, FacebookChat, WhatsApp, and a host of other existing messaging services.

If the app functioned using actual SMS massages then this would be useful tool. But because the recipient needs to pre-install the app as well to receive messages, then its no better than all other proprietary messaging platforms out there.
